Episode 2 of SunSwitch Tuesday sees Bruce Miller and Steve Hull explain why our infrared heating technology is so Energy Efficient.
Video transcript:
Hi, it’s Steve and Bruce from SunSwitch and welcome again to Sunswitch Tuesday. Last week we introduced you to SunSwitch, providers of targeted, energy-efficient and healthy heating solutions for industrial spaces using short-wave infrared heating technology.
In that first episode we talked about the benefits of targeted heating – where you are heating, specific spaces, objects or people when, where and for how long you want it and as we say – not warming the bats!
Today in our second episode we want to cover off what we mean by energy-efficient – so over to you Bruce.
Thanks Steve. When we say energy-efficient, the efficiency side is actually based around the type of technology, type of heating technology you choose, so it’s about choosing the right technology for your environment. Most industrial spaces have high ceilings, have got roller shutter doors, not very well insulated, and pretty much every industrial space historically has been heated by convection heater, which in simplistic terms, is filling your space with warm air. Now, SunSwitch short-wave heating technology enables you to target that heat to specific spaces, which is why we can guarantee to reduce your heating costs, because of the way the technology works, and if you’ve got a oil-fired or gas-fired bat warmer, we know we can save you money, and in some cases, up to 70%. So, we’d love to keep your staff happy, warm and productive this coming winter and beyond, and perhaps, Steve, you could cover off the other key benefits of energy-efficient heating solutions.
Absolutely Bruce. Well arguably, saving money and reducing costs is what most of you are interested in. The other thin Arguably saving money and reducing costs is what most of you are interested in, but the other huge benefit when switching to this best suited, most energy-efficient heating technology to heat your industrial space is that it will massively compliment your company’s green agenda, and help you to significantly slash your carbon footprint, because SunSwitch heaters do not release any CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, and so therefore, it will give a giant boost to your EPC energy-performance rating.
In summary, if you’re paying to heat any type of industrial space, there are certainly immediate and sustainable reasons and benefits that deserve your consideration, so why not review your heating requirements and explore how much you can reduce your heating energy costs by?
Thanks Steve! That was a great round-up! Please join us next Tuesday for Episode 3.
