Heat specific areas without waste and with substantial energy savings with Local Warming

Conventional heating systems heat the air, which is wasted as it naturally rises and can also drift away with air movement.

Local Warming creates an instant pool of warmth, which will not rise to the ceiling or drift away with air movement.

Local Warming is a unique approach designed to significantly reduce energy costs by targeting warmth only on areas that need it and only for as long as necessary. This is an ideal heating solution for churches, church halls and cathedrals for providing immediate, targeted and efficient warmth.

Churches are notoriously difficult and costly to heat spaces, particularly due to the height of the exposed church ceilings which is where all your warm air disappears to! Most churches are still using gas and oil convectional-type heating systems, and this is simply not the right heating technology to use any longer. This is because you cannot stop warm air from rising and most of what you’re paying for is wasted.

The infrared technology in our heaters provides instantaneous and targeted warmth without heat-loss and because of the immediacy of the heat, PRE-WARMING is no longer required—which is one of the single biggest benefits that guarantees you significant and sustainable energy cost savings!

This method of heating also creates a healthier environment because it does not generate any air movement, which means dust, allergens, viruses and bacteria are not recirculated and swirled around.

Another key benefit of this heating technology for older church buildings is that no condensation is generated inside the building and the air does not tend to dry out.

The only truly effective, energy-saving heating solution for your church

It’s a win-win solution: your congregation and visitors enjoy instant comfortable warmth and you enjoy the cost-saving benefits of efficient shortwave infrared heating, whilst reducing your carbon footprint at the same time!

SunSwitch church heaters produce instant shortwave infrared warmth, just like the sun. This is the most eco-friendly man-made source of heat because it does not heat the air but creates an instant pool of warmth, which directly warms people and will not rise to the ceiling or drift away with air movement. This helps to keep your congregation warm without wasting money, unlike with conventional heating systems that warm the air which can then drift away!

Because there is no dispersion of the heat SunSwitch infrared heaters are incredibly efficient and can save you up to 70% on your energy costs compared to traditional air heating systems.

Furthermore, SunSwitch electric warehouse heaters cost much less to buy and run than alternatives and are virtually maintenance-free. No contest!
